Home Care Instructions

It’s normal to experience mild tenderness in your tooth and surrounding gum tissue for several days following treatment. This discomfort is typically due to the procedure and the prior condition of your tooth. It should not cause concern.

Please avoid chewing on the affected side until your endodontic treatment is fully completed and your tooth is protected with a permanent restoration from your dentist. You can continue your regular dental hygiene routine as usual.

If you experience discomfort, taking over-the-counter medications such as ibuprofen (Advil), aspirin, or acetaminophen (Tylenol) as directed may help alleviate it.

• Avoid consuming alcohol while taking any of the above medications.
• If discomfort persists or swelling develops, please contact our office immediately.
